My photo is on a #ShotoniPhone billboard!
I can hardly contain my excitement! Last fallĀ I was chosen to be a part of Apple's Shot on iPhone ad campaign with one of my photosĀ up on billboards at the NHL arenas in Edmonton, AB and Washington, DC š„ š I've yet to see the billboards in person but a friend sent me a photo of the one at Capital One arena!
What's even more exciting than that?? THISĀ - during a recentĀ broadcast of a Washington Capitals game on NBC, they showed the billboard on the outside of Capital One Arena! One of my friends in Denver was watching the game and called to tell me so I tuned in to see it. So crazy to see it on TV!!
Here is a video clip I took of the TV (using my iPhone of courseĀ š) as they showed the billboard:
I took this image with my iPhone one beautiful Sunday morning when Andrew, our friend Marc and I were out skating and playing pond hockey at Two Jack Lake in Banff. The ice was as clear and smooth as glass. Unreal conditions! Thanks Marc and Andrew for putting up with me snapping so many pics that morning. Who knew you would end up being larger than life size on a billboard one day š
If you are in Washington, DC or Edmonton, Alberta, you can check outĀ the billboards in these locations:
- At Rogers Place arena in Edmonton, the board is inside the arena in the main hallway that leads to the main gates, box office, and security check. This area is open to the public (not just ticketed attendees).
- At Capital One arena in Washington, the wallscape is on the outside of the building at 6th and G facing the Judiciary Square Metro and the National Building Museum.
