About Me
Carrie Servos is a woodworker, oil painter and photographer based in the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains.
After leaving her career in the aerospace industry in 2013 to do something more meaningful, Carrie quickly discovered a new creative outlet in oil painting. Using her camera to capture scenes to paint back in her studio turned into a passion for photography, with rapid international recognition. Her photographs have been featured by Apple, Canadian Geographic, Nikon Canada, The Weather Network, Epson America, and many others.
While her photographs capture what a landscape looked like at that exact moment in time, her paintings represent her mind’s vision of these images. Carrie strives to find serenity and beauty in everything, from stunning mountain vistas and special moments with wildlife, to dilapidated old barns and farmhouses.
Her paintings and photographs are in private collections in Canada, USA and the United Kingdom.
She currently lives in Canmore, Alberta with her husband Andrew and their furry family, enjoying all the great outdoors and mountain life has to offer.

All Things Wood
She grew up on the Canadian prairies in Manitoba but spent a lot of time in Northern Ontario near her grandfather's lumber mill where a deep appreciation in the beauty of wood was born.
What started several years ago as a personal project to build some lasting, solid wood furniture for her home quickly evolved into doing custom work for others.
She specializes in creating bespoke wood furniture and art pieces. Quality lifetime pieces that bring the warmth of wood and a touch of nature inside your home.
